So lange keine Langzeitmessungen vorliegen, kann nicht endgültig gesagt werden, ob auch moderne Schnellade-Verfahren Akkus nicht doch signifikant schneller altern lassen. Die Indizien sprechen aber dafür, dass die Hersteller die Probleme mit der Technik weitgehend in den Griff bekommen haben. Dafür spricht auch, dass es kaum Beschwerden von Nutzern gibt, die ältere Geräte mit Schnelllade-Netzteil betanken. Vermutlich ist der Nutzen der Funktion weit höher als ihre möglichen Nachteile. Trotzdem kann es nicht schaden, wenn man ein Smartphone mit einem langsameren Netzteil lädt, wenn man keine Eile hat, beispielsweise über Nacht.

Immer mehr technische Geräte im Haushalt dürsten nach Strom, wer nicht zahllose USB-Ladestationen in der Wohnung liegen haben möchte, hat die Möglichkeit, auf spezielle Mehrfach-Ladegeräte zurückzugreifen. Wir haben uns vier Modelle verschiedener Hersteller im Detail angesehen.

Richtiges und schnelles USB-Laden ist eine Wissenschaft für sich. Nicht jedes Ladegerät und Ladekabel unterstützen die volle Ladegeschwindigkeit und können Unterschiede von wenigen Minuten bis zu ganzen Stunden ausmachen, bis ein Akku wirklich geladen ist.

Wichtig für ein schnelles Ladeergebnis ist vor allem die Stromstärke, die ein Smartphone oder Tablet aufnehmen kann. Die Spannung ist beim Ladevorgang über USB mit 5 Volt immer gleich. Wir haben uns aber nicht nur die mögliche Ladegeschwindigkeit der Charger genauer angesehen, sondern auch einen Blick auf Ausstattung und sonstige Merkmale geworfen.

Übrigens: Streng genommen sind die Geräte, die wir hier vorstellen, gar keine Ladegeräte, sondern Netzgeräte. Sie machen nichts anders, als Wechselstrom aus der Steckdose in Gleichstrom zu wandeln und eine Spannung von 5 Volt zu liefern. Das eigentliche Ladegerät sitzt im Smartphone, Tablet usw. Der Einfachheit halber werden wir aber weiterhin von Ladegerät schreiben, wenn wir Netzgerät meinen.

Mit dabei sind Aukey, RAVPower, Anker und EasyAcc. Auch bei Inateck, Bolse und Tecknet haben wir nach Geräten gefragt, hier aber leider keine Antwort erhalten bzw. der Kontakt wurde nach kurzer Zeit abgebrochen. Über die Gründe können wir nur spekulieren.

Das Ladegerät von Aukey macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Auf den ersten Blick gibt es aber den Kritikpunkt, dass ein An-/Ausschalter fehlt. Auch ein LED-Licht suchen wir vergeblich. Die Betriebsanleitung ist in sehr schlechtem Deutsch geschrieben, allerdings gibt es auch eine englische Erklärung.

Aukey bietet mit dem PA-U14 maximal 2,4 Ampere auf einem Port, insgesamt maximal 10 Ampere und sollte deswegen für fast alle Nutzer ausreichend dimensioniert sein. Was es mit AIPower auf sich hat, beleuchten wir weiter hinten im Artikel.

Das Gerät von Anker kostet mit 30 Euro nicht nur mehr als alle anderen Ladegeräte im Testfeld, es bietet auch am meisten Leistung. Anker möchte hier anscheinend ein hochwertiges Produkt an den Mann bringen. Wir werden überprüfen, ob dieser Anspruch auch den Tatsachen entspricht

Auch die Ladestation von RAVPower kommt im Unibody-Design daher und bietet sechs USB-Ports. Hier finden wir aber das erste Mal eine Anleitung in guter deutscher Sprache vor. Mit 22 Euro ist das Gerät das zweitbilligste .

Auch hier ist eine Garantie von 18 Monaten (bei Registrierung) enthalten. Die von Laptops und anderen Produkten üblichen 24 Monate sucht man bei den Ladegeräten also vergebens. Außer der Bedienungsanleitung findet sich nichts im Karton, der wir bei allen Konkurrenten umweltschonend aus Pappe gefertigt ist.

Überhaupt nicht gefallen hat uns die Tatsache, dass nicht alle Ports 2,4 Ampere liefern können. Drei sind scheinbar auf 1 Ampere beschränkt (mehr dazu weiter hinten im Artikel). Informationen zu iSmart findet ihr auf der dritten Seite.

Der Charger von EasyAcc muss so mit maximal 25 Watt auskommen und die USB-Ports liefern, unpraktischerweise, unterschiedliche Maximal-Stromstärken, die laut Kennzeichnung für verschiedene Geräte von verschiedenen Herstellern vorgesehen sind. Einen speziellen Ladechip bringt die kleine schwarze Box von EasyAcc nicht mit.
